I am a Utah based photographer who loves to be outdoors as often as possible. Being in nature and enjoying this beautiful earth is when I feel most alive. Photography naturally became a way to document those experiences and showcase the beauty all around us. I became interested in landscape photography at a very young age, and knew early on that I needed to make photography a long-term part of my life in some way. In 2012, I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography and began pursuing a career in Fine Art Landscape Photography.
I have always had a passion for many visual art fields. In addition to my photography, I have also worked as a Graphic Designer for six years. I am fascinated by the art of book-binding and enjoy making my own journals and sketch books. I also love painting but am terrible at it! Some of my other passions include soccer, snowboarding, hiking, camping, music, and of course, spending time with my family. I am incredibly blessed to live in such a beautiful area and be surrounded by great friends and family.
I believe that experiencing the Earth’s beauty has the power to clear our minds and nourish our souls. Spending time outdoors is rejuvenating and is a refreshing contrast to the hustle and bustle of life. Through my photography, I strive to translate these experiences into positive and uplifting images. In a world that is so bombarded with chaos and negativity, it is my hope that I can contribute images that will inspire hope and gratitude for the wonderful world we live in.
